Daniel M. O'Leary

Daniel M. O’Leary, 59, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on August 21, 2020.  Born on October 28, 1960 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Paul J. And Theresa E. ‘Betty’ (Pauline) O’Leary.

Danny, as he was known, was lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School. As an owner of his own route, he worked as a Bread Distributor for Stroehmann Bread Company, retiring due to his illness.  Danny, played hockey for LaSalle Senior High School.  He continued to play in several adult local leagues and also enjoyed playing golf. Danny had a kind heart!!

Danny is survived by siblings, Sean O'Leary, Patrick O’Leary and Mary Kay (Bob) Gruarin; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Chris, Casey, Cameron Gruarin, Carly (Chris) Cappiccilli, Katelyn (Ron) Bernick and Emi, Wyatt and Griffin O'Leary; great-nephews, Luciano and Griffey; an aunt, Judy Noworyta; 2 dear friends and several cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two siblings, Timothy O'Leary and Paulie O’Leary.

The family will be present on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.  Danny’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, with Rev. Father Jacek Mazur serving as celebrant.  Family and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.  Arrangements are under the care of Michael R.
