David E. Franke

David E. Franke, of Sanborn, NY, age of 85, passed away on July 31, 2024.  Born on November 2, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Erwin and Eleanor (Redinger) Franke and the husband of the late Kathleen (Caccamise) Franke.

Dave was a proud graduate of Lew-Port High School and later attended business school. He was a member of Colonial Heights Free Methodist Church.

Dave is survived by children, Karen (Jim) Caggiano and Rachel (Tom) Stevens; grandchildren, Jefferson Monahan, Aiden Caggiano and Gianna Caggiano; siblings, Robert (Bonnie) Franke, Kathryn (Rodney) Perkins and Paul (Eileen) Franke and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Charles (living, Donna) Franke.

All are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, from 3-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Dave’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 8th, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Timothy Deeks officiating. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a Cerebral palsy charity of your choosing.
