Deborah Lee Hout, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on November 18, 2022, at her residence, while under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Born on May 11, 1957 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (nee Woodland) Hout.
Debbie, as she was known to family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and graduated from LaSalle High School. She later earned her associates degree in accounting from Niagara County Community College. Debbie was employed as an accountant for various hotels, most recently, The Millennium Hotel in Cheektowaga. She had a passion for gardening and bird watching. Debbie was a talented cook and loved to cook for her family. Above all, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her grandchildren and watching them mature.
Debbie is survived by children, Jesse Popovice and Deanna (Jessica) Mallory; grandchildren, Hannah Routhier and Haleigh Routhier; a brother, Robert (Kim) Hout and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Lillian (late Edward) Woodland.
Private interment will be held in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
