Debra A. Hochadel, Middletown Ohio, died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of hospice. Born December 5, 1954 in Lewiston, NY, Debbie attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Wheatfield in 1973 and Cheryl Fell's School of Business in 1988. Debbie had a naturally competitive spirit and enjoyed fishing, reading, the Buffalo Bills and more than anything else, being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Family was the driving force of her life.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ruth (Nelson) Warner; sister, Peggy (Felix) Ray, and husband, Robert Hochadel.
Survived by her sons, Edward (Michelle) Wielgus II of Franklin OH, Daniel (Cara) Wielgus of Germantown OH, and Robert "Andy" Wielgus of Middletown OH. Grandchildren Ariel and Trinity Wielgus, Madisyn and Meaghan Pelfrey and Daniel (DJ) Jr and Jessica Wielgus. Siblings Richard (Shirley) Warner, Nancy Rudy and LuAnn Warner of Niagara Falls NY and Becky (Darin) Deering of Smyrna TN. Great-Granddaughter Ramona Tharpe and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. Also survived by her adoring cats Carly and Kirby.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Saturday, January 11th, from 1-3:30 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where a funeral service will follow visitation at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Hospice Care of Middletown 4418 Lewis Street B, Middletown OH, 45044.
