Derek P. DeCarlo

Derek P. DeCarlo, 55, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on August 28, 2023.  Born on February 19, 1968 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Nancy A. (Lamb) DeCarlo and the late Peter J. DeCarlo.

Derek graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School in 1986.  He was employed by the Niagara County Highway Department for many years. Derek had a passion for music, a wicked sense of humor and a love for animals.

In addition to his mother, Derek is survived by his wife, Katherine L. (Pernesky) DeCarlo; brother, Christopher (Tina) DeCarlo; nephews, Christophe and Jacob DeCarlo; two sisters-in-law; 2 brother-in-laws and one niece, and 2 nephews on his wife's side of the family.
