Diane M. (Bartz) Benden

Diane M. (Bartz) Benden, 71, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on December 6, 2025 at Erie County Medical Center.  Born on May 24, 1954 in Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Delores (Churchill) Bartz and the wife of 51 years of Edgar F. Benden. 

Diane enjoyed spending her summers at her cabin in Pennsylvania with dogs Lucy and Sadie. 

In addition to her beloved husband, Diane is survived by children, James and Michael Benden, Sarah (Sean) Kennedy and Meatball the blind/deaf dog and grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Gordon, Mathew, Liliana, Sophia and Nicholas. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Joseph Benden, Sr. and one sister, Carol A. Turner.
