Diane Sharon Gardner, 68, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on October 1, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born on January 29, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hazel Gardner.
Diane attended St. Mary’s School for the deaf. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking and baking, going to the casino, vacationing with family and above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, William (Christy) Conrad, Tammy (Edward Pringle) Reynolds, Sharon (Adam) Cadin and Evonne Holstom; life partner of 44 years Robert Holstrom; three sisters, Beverly (James) Kress, Cathy (Joe) Harris, and Brenda Mitravich; three brothers, Frank (DeAnn) Gardner, Robert (Rochelle) Gardner and Walter Gardner; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by four siblings; Karen Gardner, Darlene (Dennis of FL) Sawyer, Dave (Bonnie of PA) Gardner and Jerry Gardner.
The family will be present on Tuesday, October 5th from 3-7p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). Prayers of committal and interment will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
