Diane Marie (Clyde) Melloni, 70, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on February 26, 2025 at Buffalo General Medical Center. Born on September 6, 1954 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Teresa (Hanner) Clyde. On February 16, 1973, she married Louis Mario Melloni in Prince of Peace Church.
Diane graduated from LaSalle High School in 1972. She worked as a medical billing clerk for various medical institutions and was the co-founder of the family business, Melloni's Prime Meats. Diane loved playing cards with friends, spoiling her grandchildren and her chihuahuas, going on vacation with her family, rocking around her “Charlie Browner” Christmas tree and traveling the world with her best friend. She was a talented baker and seamstress, always full of life, ready to dance and take on a new project. If she were here, Diane would tell us “this too shall pass.”
In addition to her beloved husband, Diane is survived by children, Tina (Patrick) Duffy, Mario (Annmarie) Melloni and Angela (Brandon) Melloni; grandchildren, Sabrina Orsi, Julien Melloni, Monica (Cody) Lodick and Adriana Duffy; sisters, Joanne (Lawrence) Riley and Lori Nicholas and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Donna Clyde, Bruce Clyde, Maryann Clyde, John Clyde, Robert Clyde and Bonnie Wheaton.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Wednesday, March 5th, from 4-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
