Diane Van Wagner Life story

 

Diane (Adams) Van Wagner, 83, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on January 6, 2022.  Born on September 29, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Dorothy (McKinn) Adams.  

 

Diane graduated from Kelly Business Institute in 1982 and Allied Health in 1985.  She was employed for many years as a home health care aide and by Heritage Manor.  Diane was a member of North Ridge United Methodist Church and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.  She enjoyed bowling, trips to the casino, camping, bonfires, history and reading.  Above all, Diane loved spending time with her family.  

 

Diane is survived by children, Shannon (Carl) Nordvik, Dayna Wiepert, James (Rebecca) Van Wagner, Jr. and Krista (Mark) Roberts; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Audrey Walton, Sandra Humes, Timothy Adams and Thomas Adams and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Margaret Thompson, Patricia Burdette, Carol Rick and Beverly Stuart.
