Edward T. ‘Grandpa’ Peak, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on August 25, 2021, while residing at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. He was born on July 10, 1933 in Hazleton, PA.
Edward came to Niagara Falls at the age of 18. On August 2, 1958, he married Patricia Williams. Edward retired from Buffalo Pumps, in North Tonawanda, after 42 years of service, where he was employed as a head of shipping. He was a communicant of local Catholic Churches and enjoyed OTB and spending time with his dog, Scully.
In addition to his beloved wife of over 63 years, Edward is survived by two daughters, Catherine (Ken) Fishman and Patricia Marie Peak and one grandson, Davidson (Nicole Stahli) Cavagnaro. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Edward F. ‘Eddie’ Peak and his siblings.

Family and friends are invited to attend Edward’s Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 31st at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish, St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane Klizek serving as celebrant. The family will be present 30 minutes prior to Mass to greet guests. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
