Edward R. Webber

Edward R. Webber, 97, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on August 13, 2025.  Born on April 26, 1928 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Reginald and Irene (Porter) Webber and the husband of Dorothy M. (Buckrop) Webber.

Edward proudly served in the United States Army, during World War II, serving three years in the United States Army Intelligence. He retired from Nabisco, where he held various positions, including Union President.

Edward was a member of Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and Boy Scout Leader  and a member of Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Company, where he was active until the age of 92.  He was a master instructor of the NYS Bow Hunter Education Course and  enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, camping, spending time at his sons property, golf and spending time with his grandson.

In addition to his beloved wife, Edward is survived by children, Barbara (late Harold) Davidson, William (Glenys Bayley) Webber, Robert (Terese) Webber and Jeffrey (Ali Kay) Webber; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Fred (Temple) Webber and Diane Emke-Webb and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a great-grandson, Ian Webber; siblings, Dorothy Babbitt, Ilean Nenoff, William Webber, Joann Gage and Carol Gage and also twin brothers, Albert and Gordon Webber.

There will be no prior visitation. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA and/or Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Company.
