Elizabeth "Betty" Jane (Morrow) Wise

Elizabeth Jane “Betty” (Morrow) Wise, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on January 27, 2024 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born on January 11, 1942 in Madison, FL, she was the daughter of the late George Morrow, Jr. and the late Rachel (Weatherly) Morrow. On April 15, 1967, Betty married Clair James Wise, known to all as Jim, at St. Paul Methodist Church. 

Betty was raised and attended schools in Madison, FL.  She was employed by Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, South Street School, and Orleans Niagara BOCES. Betty was a member of the United Methodist Church on Packard Road and enjoyed ceramics, reading, and music. 

In addition to her beloved husband, Betty is survived by her daughter-in-law, Celeste Wise; grandchildren, Emilie, Allison, and Luke Wise; nephew, Ken Downy; niece, Karen Downy Fischer and multiple loving family members and extended family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Kevin Wise and a sister, Diana Louise Morrow.

Prayers of committal, by Michael R.
