Emily Ann (Wilcox) Pflueger

Emily Ann (Wilcox) Pflueger, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 2, 2024 at her residence.  Born on November 6, 1941 in Mansfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Anna (Denkenberger) Wilcox.  On December 14, 1963, Emily married Otto C. Pflueger in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls, NY.

Emily came to Niagara Falls with her family at the age of 15 and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1959.  She was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls, NY.

Emily is survived by her son, Richard C. (Helen) Pflueger; her daughter, Janet M. (Jim) Mitchell; grandchildren, Micaela A. Mitchell, Richard G. Pflueger, Elizabeth R. Mitchell, and Rachel M. Pflueger and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Janet, Robert, F. Richard, and Alice Patricia.

Private visitation and a funeral service was held at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY (716-297-9007), with Rev. Timothy Anas officiating.  Private prayers of committal and interment took place in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
