Frances A. (Ackerson) Stevens

Frances A. (nee Ackerson) Stevens, 83, passed from this life on May 4, 2021.  Born on August 28, 1937 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Bernie and Amelia (nee Steinbrenner) Ackerson.  On June 24, 1963, she married Harold J. Stevens.  He predeceased her on January 6, 1989. 

Frances graduated from LaSalle High School.  She was employed as a bus driver for Metro Bus and Rail (NFTA). Frances enjoyed working in her garden and crocheting.

Frances is survived by a son, David Stevens; daughter, Brenda Stevens; grandson, David (Britney) Stevens, Jr.; granddaughter, Ashley Stevens and 5 great- grandchildren, Isabella, Abigale, Sterling, Layla and Sadie.

A funeral service, with committal prayers will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Interment to follow.  Friends invited.  Professional arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
