Fred B. Cole, Sr.

Fred B. Cole, Sr., 84, formerly of Niagara Falls, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on July 22, 1936 he was the son of the late Louis and Inez (Edwards) Cole.

Fred was raised and attended schools in Rhode Island and came to Niagara Falls after proudly completing his service in the United States Army.  Following his retirement from Airco Speer in 1999, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially with his daughter and grandchildren. Fred also enjoyed bowling and fishing. 

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Cole; two grandchildren, Aimee and Christopher (Lisa) Tuttle; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Arianna, Tyler and Aiden. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two sons, Bradford Cole and Fred B. Cole, Jr. and a sister Doris Jane. 

Fred’s family will be present on Wednesday, November 11th, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where his funeral service will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  As you prepare to attend, please be mindful of face coverings and prepare to practice social distancing for everyones safety.  Arrangements are under the care of Michael R.
