Gerald Francis Wood

Gerald Francis Wood, 40, of Kenmore, NY, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on August 26, 2020.  Born on October 4, 1979 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of William B. Carbin and Gina (Bertozzi) Carbin.

Jerry, as he was known, attended local schools as well as First Baptist School in North Tonawanda. He worked as a Free Lance Tattoo Artist, currently employed at Alchemy Tattoos and Piercings. Jerry enjoyed skateboarding, biking and spending time with his family.

In addition to his loving parents, Jerry is survived by his wife, Molly (Bernhard) Wood, who he married on August 26, 2017; children,Tyler Clarkston, Nathan Wood and Mason Wood; a step-daughter, Alana Fechter; his sister, Gina (Dan) Stewart; two nephews, Colin and Vincent Stewart; niece, Evelyn Stewart; a grandmother, Evelyn (late Gino) Bertozzi; an aunt, Maryann Bertozzi; his uncle, Joseph (Tammy) Bertozzi and cousins, Katie Banacore, Kelly (Adam) Sorano, Rachel (Steve) Roberts and Sarah (Matt) Hoffman.

The family will be present on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where Jerry’s funeral service will be held on Monday, August 31st at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Randy Thurman officiating.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. As you prepare to attend, please keep in mind face coverings, social distancing and occupancy regulations.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission.
