Grace Marie (Valentino) Passmore, 98, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, died at home, after a brief illness, in the presence of her loving son, Robert Passmore and his wife, Kathryn of California.
In addition to her son and daughter-in-law, Grace is survived by a grandson, Thomas (Yvonne) Passmore; two great-granddaughters, Jessica and Kendra Passmore all of California; niece and nephew, JoAnn and Jerry Hunt and several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by very special friends, Mary Ann Ventry and Frances Maggadino.
Grace was predeceased by her parents, Egnazio and Lena (Balistrere) Valentino; her husband, Thomas Eli Passmore on January 18, 2006; three brothers, Tony, Joe and Jake Valentino and two sisters, Lena Ferritto and Rose Magno.
Grace was a “Rosie the Riveter,” during World War II, a Burlington Fur Consultant and also a realtor. She enjoyed fashion, decorating, dancing, entertaining, bingo, traveling and spending time with her family. Grace was a member of the John Duke Senior Center as well as the Cristoforo Colombo Society.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 8th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, with Father Duane Klizek serving as celebrant. The family will be present to receive friends at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Private interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to your favorite charity.
