Harold Richard ‘Rick’ Brown, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away just 117 days after the love of his life died, on May 16, 2026 at Buffalo General Medical Center. Born on May 10, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Fred and May (Lloyd) Brown and the husband of the late Sandra J. (Kollie) Brown, married on July 2, 1966. She predeceased him on January 19, 2026.
Rick retired from General Motors Corporation in Lockport, NY. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army Reserves on May 23, 1965. Rick was a member of the Freewheelers Car Club and the Niagara Frontier Scuba Club. Rick and Sandy enjoyed spending time together on the Upper Niagara River. He was an avid boat racer and hot rod enthusiast. Rick was seen all over LaSalle cruising around in his red truck.
Rick is survived by two daughters, Christine (Greg) Hughes and Kimberly (Anthony) Barone; grandchildren, Kassie Ligammari, Gregory (Skyler) Evans, Justin Hughes and Ciara and Celena Barone and great-grandchildren, Alfred and Abel Ligammari. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Douglas and Paul Brown.

Rick’s family has entrusted his care to the Goodlander family, OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE.
