Irvin W. Brydges, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, peacefully at his home. Born on January 20, 1930, in Niagara Falls, NY, Irvin was the son of the late Arthur W. and Grace (Finley) Brydges.
Mr. Brydges was a lifelong area resident. Irvin attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. On January 27, 1951, he married the former Lois May Wade. She predeceased him on July 14, 2019. Mr. Brydges proudly served in the United States Army, during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on March 26, 1953. Irvin was employed by Niagara Welding, Stauffer Chemical and the Chevy Motor Plant, a member of UAW Local 774 retiring in 1992. Above all, Mr. Brydges was dedicated to the care of his family and enjoyed golfing and ice skating.
In addition to his beloved wife of over 67 years, Mr. Brydges is survived by his 3 children; Marygrace {Edward} Bugay, Donnalee Singh both of Niagara Falls and Dr. Kenneth {Penny} Brydges of Watertown; five grandchildren: Stacy {Shawn} Worczak, Jonathan Bugay, Davindar {Krystle} Singh, Heather Brydges and Justin (Melissa) Brydges; seven great grandchildren: Alexa Bugay, Ella Worczak, Emma Worczak, Evan Worczak, Arianna Hansen, Avery Singh and Rosalie Brydges; one brother-in-law, John {Helga} Wade of North Tonawanda and one sister-in-law, Alice {late Fred} Helton of Oliver Springs, TN and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Donald (Mildred) Brydges, and Harry (late Doris) Brydges.

There will be no prior visitation. Interment, concluding wwith Military Honors, will be held privately with his family in Acacia Park Cemetery.
