JaQuan Marcell Nathaniel Casselman, born July 7, 1999, peacefully transitioned on May 10, 2026, after courageously battling kidney disease. Though his time on earth was far too short, JaQuan’s love, strength, and spirit left a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know him.
JaQuan was a devoted father, loving son, caring brother, and cherished partner. He leaves behind his beloved son, Princeton, who was the light of his life, and his loving girlfriend and mother of his child, Shihann. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Benika Williams; father, Keon Yoesherles; grandmothers, Dorothea Casselman and Darlene Sherles; brothers, Tyrone Jones Jr., Malachi Yoesherles, and Edgdrin Yoesherles; sisters, Samya Adams and Nia Shereles; stepbrothers and stepsisters; and aunt, Shemika McDowell.
JaQuan also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
JaQuan’s memory will forever live on through the lives he touched with his smile, laughter, strength, and love. Though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.”
