In Loving Memory of Jack E. Stonebraker
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jack Stonebraker, a beloved brother, Army veteran, and a man who left and indelible mark on all who knew him. Jack passed away peacefully under hospice care in Niagara Falls after a lengthy illness. His strength and resilience throughout this difficult time inspired those who stood by his side.
Jack had a deep love for Native American culture. His home was filled with the beauty of the art he so cherished, a reflection of his connection to a culture that brought him peace and joy. He also had a love of fishing and bowling with his sons. He enjoyed watching the Raiders, his favorite team, play football. Growing up, Jack helped take care of his younger brothers and sisters.
Known for a sense of humor, Jack had a way of making others smile, even then the most challenging of times. His presence was a blessing to everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Jack is predeceased by his father, Donald W Stonebraker, his mother, Carol A. Pembleton and his sisters, Maureen White and Jodi Pembleton.
He is survived by his sons, Jack E. Stonebraker Jr. and Timothy Stonebraker, as well as a grandson, Maxim. Longtime companion, Eva Myers. He is also survived by many siblings: Wallace (Debbie) Pembleton, Terry Stonebraker, Donald Stonebraker, John Channing, Carol Betton, Donna (Steve) Smith, Patricia Anastasio, Beverley Blake, James (Annette) Stonebraker, Christopher Savoie and Mackenzie Savoie along with many nieces and nephews.
While his suffering has come to an end, the love Jack shared with his family and friends will live on. Rest in peace, Jack. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Thursday, from 4-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).
