James Daniel Slade

James Daniel Slade, 67, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on November 11, 2025 at his residence, while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born on March 14, 1958 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Janet (Bierbrauer) Slade and the husband of Cheryl (Stachowski) Slade, whom he married on July 11, 1992.

James was employed by Atlas Copco in Wheatfield, NY.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by one son, Michael Slade; two sisters, Lorrie (Girard) Nole and Lisa (Dee) Bishop; three nephews, Kenneth (Samantha) and Mitchell Nole and Andrew Stachowski; one niece, Jessica (David) Todd; two brother-in-laws, Gary and Jim (Lori) Stachowski and aunts, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Slade.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Sunday, November 23rd, from 1-3:30 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where closing prayers will conclude visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
