James "Jim" Wolf from North Tonawanda, NY, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2026. Jim was born on January 20, 1951, the son of the late Lewis and Shirley Wolf of North Tonawanda, NY.
Jim is survived by his sister, Marcia C. Wolf of North Tonawanda; brothers, Gary R. Wolf of Canastota, NY; brother, Ronald L. Wolf of North Tonawanda, NY and a niece, Sarah Wolf-Gramzow of Fayetteville, NY.
Jim's education path led from Kenmore West High School (Class of '69) to Bryant & Stratton College. Jim was a manager at various trucking firms, the last being T-W Truck Equippers. Jim retired in 2013. Jim loved all sports. He was on Kenmore West's baseball and volleyball teams and was an avid golfer. Jim was an accomplished bowler as well, and became a member of the Tonawanda Bowling Hall of Fame. Jim bowled numerous 300 games and appeared on Beat The Champ many times. He enjoyed taking care of his home's lawn and numerous flower beds that he was proud of.
There will be no prior visitation. To honor Jim and in his memory, donations can be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
