Jeanette F. (Provencher) Martinez

Jeanette F. (Provencher) Martinez, 81, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this life on November 11, 2023 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born on July 9, 1942 in Waddington, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Burcurme) Provencher.  On October 19, 1967, she married Manuel J. Martinez.  He predeceased her on September 10, 1980.

Jeanette was a Madrid High School graduate and later came to Niagara Falls.  For over 50 years, she worked as a hostess, bartender, and manager for the former Pete's Market House.  Jeanette was a member and communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, where she attended the St. Leo's worship site.

Jeanette is survived by a child, Richard (Desiree) Martinez; siblings, Jean (late Jim) Hewey, Wilfred (Claire) Provencher, Ruth (late Jack) Gaines, and Terrie (Patrick) White and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, Jeanette was predeceased by siblings, Glen (late Alice) Provencher, Richard Provencher, John (late Leanne) Provencher, and Linda (late A.J.) Hartly.

There will be no services at this time.  A Mass will be announced at a later date.
