Jeanette B. (Farris) Willis

Jeanette B. (Farris) Willis, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on August 20, 2023.  Born on August 3, 1934 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mimmia and Caroline (Donato) Farris.  On August 22, 1953, Jeanette married Robert H. Willis.  He predeceased her on August 22, 1969.

Jeanette was employed as a kindergarten school teacher across Niagara Falls at many Catholic schools. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, cooking and baking.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to nurses and staff on the 3rd floor west at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Our heartfelt appreciation to the special friends always there to help in any way they could.  Brian and Karen Mann, Michael Roehre, Linda Coyle and Laurie Hojnacki, we are forever grateful for your love and kindness.

Jeanette is survived by children, Kathleen (James Deal) Poullos, Laura (Gary) Willis Kephart, Robert L. (Laurie) Willis and Lynne Marie Jasper; grandchildren, Jennifer (James) McKindsey, Robert (Lauren) Poullos, Melissa (Matthew) Scozzafava, Amanda K. Lorian, Vanessa (Ommy Walters) Doane, Meghan (Jason) Garcia, Anna Willis, Carolyn Willis, William E. (Hannah Carrier) Jasper, III and Griffin Jasper; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and many special friends.  Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 3 brothers.
