Jorge Luis Cruz, Sr.

Jorge Luis Cruz, Sr., also known as Tito, 74, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on August 25, 2025.  Born on April 15, 1951 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Blas and Maria (Brenes) Cruz and the husband of Christine (Sokero) Cruz, whom he married on October 22, 1977.

Tito was employed by Kaleida Health, where he worked in Environmental Services for 42 years.  He was a “Scratch-off Aficionado” and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his beloved wife, Jorge is survived by a daughter, Jeanette (William) Swearengen and their child, Mia; a son, Jorge (Jessica) Cruz, Jr. and their children, Luciana and Gabriel and loving siblings alive and deceased.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Sunday, August 31st, from 2-4 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).
