Joyce C. (Stark) Braham

Joyce C. (Stark) Braham, 85, passed away on May 16, 2026.  Born on June 7, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Bensley) Stark.

Joyce graduated in 1958 from Niagara Falls High School.  She was employed in the housekeeping department of the former St. Mary’s Manor (formerly DeVeaux Manor Nursing Home) and retired from Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Joyce was a life member of First Presbyterian Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  She enjoyed reading mysteries and westerns and was an avid baker and collector of angel figurines. Joyce was a ‘die hard fan’ of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. 

Joyce is survived by a son, Robert (Kelly) Braham; two daughters, Karen (Raymond) Saldaña and Laura (Glenn) Stewart; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one niece, Kathy Robinson and one nephew, David Hollinsworth. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Katherine Braham; one son, Carl (Mickey) Braham and one sister, Margaret A. Hollinsworth.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Thursday, June 4th, from 4-6 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Joyce’s funeral service will follow visitation at 6:00 p.m.  Private prayers of committal and interment will be held in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Niagara Falls or your favorite charity.
