Judy Jane (Edwards) Ward

Judy Jane (Edwards) Ward, 82, passed away on January 6, 2026.  Born on August 15, 1943 in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard K. Edwards, Sr., and the late Marjorie (Dean) Edwards and the wife of the late Aubrey D. Ward.

Judy was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Niagara Falls, NY as well as the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion.  Above all, Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren.  

Judy is survived by children, Cindy Jane (Daniel) Duke and David Bert (Julia) Ward; grandchildren, James Matthew Otis, Olivia Jane Duke, Joseph Aubrey Ward and Christopher David Ward and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents and husband, she was  predeceased by two siblings, Richard K. Edwards, Jr. and Denise Dean Carr. 

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, January 9th, from 4-6 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Judy’s funeral service and life celebration will follow visitation at 6:00 p.m.  Private interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.
