Kerry R. Wheaton

Kerry R. Wheaton, 63, of Newfane, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 5, 2024, while staying at Newfane Rehabilitaion and Nursing Center.  Born on May 25, 1960 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Richard Wheaton and the late Patricia (nee Ortner) (Jerry) Cooper.

Kerry was a lifelong area resident and graduated from the former LaSalle High School.  He held various positions in the catering business, working for Scipione’s and Melloni’s.  Kerry spent the majority of his free time enjoying his family and friends as well as tinkering with what ever he could get his hands on.

Kerry is survived by children, Christopher (Kadie) Wheaton, Donna Wheaton, and Nicholas (Nikki) Wheaton; grandchildren, Brianna, Gianna, Kayleigh, Conor, Zachary, Arianna, and Chloe; siblings, Steve (Karen) Wheaton, Wayne (Linda) Wheaton, Blake (Kim) Wheaton, and Shane Wheaton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is also survived by his former spouse, Bonnie (nee Clyde) Wheaton.  Besides his parents, Kerry was predeceased by siblings, Rick and Troy.
