Kristen H. Emes

Kristen H. Emes, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on June 25, 2021.  Born on May 8, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (nee Long) Emes.

Kristen was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and graduated from Stella Niagara High School. She was employed by the former Marine Midland Bank and later by Life Technologies. Kristen was a longtime, devoted religious education teacher at the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church. She also volunteered her time baking for St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church and was a Third Order of St. Francis Franciscan.

Kristen is survived by siblings, Barbara (late Edward) Snyder, Christopher Emes and Mary Emes; nephews, Ian Emes and Todd Snyder; her cat companion, Savannah and several cousins.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a niece, Stacey Snyder and her dog, Brutus.
