Laura M. (Falbo) Briggs

Laura M. (Falbo) Briggs, 79, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on May 3, 2025 at Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born on December 14, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Dorothy Falbo and the wife of the late George Edward Briggs.

Laura was employed and retired from Niagara Wheatfield School District. She was a member of Great Hounds and enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.

Laura is survived by one son, Jerry (Alice Williams) Briggs; grandchildren, Ashley Lightfoot, Karissa Shea and Tabitha Schumann and several great-grandchildren.  Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Wenda Cohoon and a grandson, Kevin Byrwa.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Wednesday, May 7th, from 4-7:30 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Laura’s funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m., with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.
