Laurie B. (Cantwell) Brewer

Laurie B. Brewer (Cantwell), age 61, of Slippery Rock, PA, passed away peacefully at home on December 25th, 2024.   She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 16th 1961.  Daughter of the late Roy and Martha (Daugherty) Cantwell.

She is survived by her Husband Robert G. Brewer, Daughter, Jacqueline Guyette McDougall (Josh), Sons David Guyette, Anthony Guyette (Dana) and adopted Daughter Bre Rager.   Grandchildren Colton McDougall, Blake McDougall, Kylee McDougall, Alyssa Guyette & Maverick Guyette.  

Also survived by siblings Steve Cantwell (Gail), Karol Gizzarelli (Michael) and Mary Jungier (Anthony) and several nieces and nephews.  Sister of the late Karen Guyette (Kevin) and Kim Miller (Greg)

She was employed for several years at JD’s Restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY as well as The Camelot Restaurant in Slippery Rock where she retired after 15 years.

She always wore her heart proudly on her sleeve and opened it to everyone who was willing to listen.  She had an everlasting love for her children and grandchildren and was very proud of her family.  She knew how to shake the pot.  She had an opinion on everything and stood for what she believed.

She enjoyed her dog Bella, Cooking, Sudoku, Best Fiends and her programs General Hospital & Chicago Fire.  

There will be no prior visitation.  A celebration of life will be held at a future date to be determined.
