Linda Marie (Patronski) Dougherty

Linda Marie (nee Patronski) Dougherty, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 22, 2021.  Born on March 2, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell B. Patronski and the late Aniela ‘Nellie’ (nee Smist) Patronski.  On May 31, 1966 she married Richard D. Dougherty.  He predeceased her on November 17, 1993.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She retired from General Motors Corporation, Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY after 25 years of service. Linda was extremely proud of her polish heritage. She enjoyed playing bingo, going casino and reading.  Above all, Linda adored spending time with her family and her pets.

Linda is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Theresa (late Mark D.) Lucas; surrogate sons, David T. (Mary Lee) and Wayne T. Phillips; surrogate daughter, Tisha L. (Frank) Pope; siblings, Mary (late Frank) Signorelli, Jane (late Gordon) Alden, Dorothy (Ronald Deschalit) Boager and Robert (Kelly) Patronski and nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Mitchell J. (living, Ann) Patronski, Ted (living, Gloria) Patronski, JoAnn (late Alfred) Ford, Barbara Lee Reid and Sharon M. Lapp.

The family will be present on Saturday, April 3rd from 2-5p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where a funeral service will follow visitation at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating. Friends invited.
