Lloyd L. Schmelzle

Lloyd L. Schmelzle, 96, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on May 3, 2026.  Born on February 19, 1930, he was the son of the late Oliver and Belle and the husband of the late Kathryn ‘Lillian’ (Schmouder) Schmelzle.

Lloyd is survived by two daughters, Dianne (late Tony) Rosh, Roxanna (Duane) Frederick; one son, Timothy (Mona) Schmelzle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; dear friend, Joanie Knowles and many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents and spouse, he was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara McCall and two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 7th, from 1-4 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where Lloyd’s funeral service will follow visitation at 4:00 p.m.  Private interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Calvary Baptist Church and/or Niagara Hospice.
