Marilyn F. (Martin) Hartman

Marilyn F. (Martin) Hartman, 93, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on February 25, 2020.  Born on January 31, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Reubin and Florence (Nichols) Martin.  

Marilyn was a lifelong resident of her South Avenue home and attended local schools.  On March 18, 1945, she married Walter R. Hartman, Sr.  Mr. Hartman predeceased her on March 8, 2015. Marilyn enjoyed her sweets, playing bingo for many years and in most recent years, playing the NY Lotto Double Cash Word Scratch Off.

Marilyn is survived by a son, Walter R. (Carolee) Hartman, Jr.; granddaughter, Emily; adopted grandson, David Winters; dear friends, Lori Jo Pellow and Janice Moffett and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and spouse, she was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher and siblings, Mildred, Gary and Paul.  

A special thank you to the loving care of the nurses and staff of the 3rd floor at Schoellkopf Healthcare Facility.

A private interment, beside her husband, will be held in Mount View Cemetery, Pekin, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Arrangements are under the care of Michael R. Goodlander, OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME.  Share condolences at GOODLANDERCARES.com
