Marilynn H. (Brown) Garber, of Niagara Falls, NY, age of 87, passed away on August 2, 2024. Born on November 18, 1936 in Wyoming, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Nellie Brown.
Marilynn earned her associates degree in nursing from Niagara County Community College. For 42 years, she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and also was a home health care aide for many family members and friends, including her mother and also local clients. Marilynn was a longtime active member of St. James United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, from 1964 until the present. She also was an avid reader.
Marilynn is survived by one son, Charles (Judi VanValkinburgh-Garber) Garber; grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Ethan, Edward, Caroline and Charlotte and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sisters of Juanita and Stanley.
