Mary Ellen (Florer) Sperduti

Mary Ellen (Florer) Sperduti, 83, passed away on April 22, 2025 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility.  Born on September 19, 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Lapp) Florer and the wife of the late Anthony J. Sperduti.

Mary Ellen graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She was employed as a receptionist for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center as well as New York State Office of Parks and Recreation in Niagara Falls. Mary Ellen enjoyed bingo, bowling and dancing and loved animals. Above all, her life was taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Mary Ellen is survived by children, James (Jeanine) Sperduti, Toni (Richard Deal) Ventrilla and Ellen Sperduti; grandchildren, Gulian (Kyle) Ventrilla, Katherine (Robert) McCann, Victoria (Alex) Zdrowak and Taylor Sperduti; great-grandchildren, Harper, Hudson and Hannah; siblings, Louis (late Irene) Florer and Laurel (Robert) Reasinger and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents and spouse, she was predeceased by a sister, Lanice Ford.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Monday, from 4-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).  Prayers of committal and interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Laura Norris Buisch officiating.  All are invited to attend and assemble at the cemetery mausoleum chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
