Mary Frances (Henley) Waldeck

Mary Frances (Henley) Waldeck, 88, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this life on May 11, 2022 while staying at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence.  Born on April 5, 1934 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henley and the late Frances (Mezzio) (late Joseph) Henley Norbut.  In July of 1955, Mary married David L. Waldeck, Sr.

Mary was a lifelong area resident and proud graduate of Nardin Academy. She was a member and communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Parish where she worshiped at the St. Leo's site.  Mary made and sold ceramics and sold Avon.  She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed cheering for the Buffalo Bills.

In addition to her beloved husband, Mary is survived by children, Pamela (Vincent) Breslin, David (Joyce Dubuc) Waldeck, Jr., Thomas Waldeck, Deanna (John) Waldeck Sever, Lisa (David Dorato) Waldeck and William Waldeck; grandchildren, Shanon (Jon) Newell, Craig (ToniMarie) Waldeck, Megan Breslin, Scott Amendt, Dustin Waldeck, Katelynn (Stephen) Ellison, Candyce Platt, Anthony DiBartolomeo and Jessica Dorato; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Henley Long and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah (Rodney) Amendt.

The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, May 15th from 1-4 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where her funeral service and life celebration will follow visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Peter Calabrese officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to John R.
