Mary Lou Sanders

Mary Lou Sanders, 87, of Gasport, NY, passed away on October 5, 2023.  Born on April 12, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Gibbs) Sanders.

Mary Lou graduated from the former LaSalle High School in 1954.  She was very reserved, but was a proud volunteer of the Civil Air Patrol. Mary Lou was also witty and had a great sense of humor.  Mary Lou enjoyed arts and crafts and scrapbooking. In her younger years, she worked for Goodwill and collected bells.

Mary Lou is survived by nieces and nephews, Sue Verley, Brett (Leann) Sanders, Monica (Jim) Douglas, Mark Sanders, and Christine (Phil) Chase; 9 great-nieces and nephews and 3 great-great-nephews. Besides her parents, Mary Lou was predeceased by brothers, Russell (Mickey) Sanders and Kent (Mary) Sanders.

Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services for Mary Lou on Wednesday, October 11th, at 11:00 a.m., in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, 5871 Military Road, Lewiston, NY.
