Maryann Elizabeth Morris Cox

Maryann Elizabeth Morris Cox, 68, of Niagara Falls, NY, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Born on August 14, 1956, in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Peggy) Morris. A proud graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, Maryann dedicated her career to teaching and working in healthcare administration. She was deeply loved for her warm spirit and cherished moments spent with her family and close friends, often while listening to her favorite music. Maryann's kindness and dedication earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and friends alike.

Maryann leaves behind her beloved children: Alicia Anne Cox of Niagara Falls, NY; Shaundell Miree Westbrook, Sr. (India Westbrook) of Charlotte, NC; and Alexis Marie Westbrook of Cedar Park, TX. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Ashant’e Lezey Cox of Niagara Falls, NY, and Shaundell Miree Westbrook of Charlotte, NC. She is survived by her brother, Thomas "Skip" Morris (Ann) of Orchard Park, NY, and her niece, Kaitlyn Morris of Orchard Park, NY. 

Maryann will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, and her love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
