Michael J. Arber (NFPD, Ret,)

Michael J. Arber (NFPD, Ret.), 74, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on November 25, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.  Born on September 5, 1948 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Bertha (nee Scheer) Arber.  On October 3, 1970, he married Barbara Morgan.

Michael proudly served in the United States Army National Guard, as a Staff Sergeant, from April 10, 1970 until his honorable discharge on April 10, 1983.  He was employed as a police officer for the Niagara Falls Police Department. 

In addition to his beloved wife, Barbara, Michael is survived by sons, Douglas (Darcee) and Christopher (Melissa) Arber; his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Robin, Peter and Kristin and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Marlyis.
