Michael D. Fouts, Sr.

Michael D. Fouts, Sr., 50, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this life on May 15, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born on October 27, 1970 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Chris and Susan (nee Guyette) Canfield.  On August 21, 1993, he married Tonya L. Paul.

Mike as he was known to family and friends was a lifelong area resident and attended Niagara Wheatfield Schools. For over 30 years, he was employed as a truck driver for Modern Disposal, up until his illness.

In addition to his parents and loving wife, Mike is survived by children, Michael D. Fouts, Jr., Zachary Fouts, Anthony Fouts and Cody Fouts; grandchildren, Devon, David, Aurora, Riley, Jamal and Jackson; siblings, Steven Fouts, Sheri (Thomas) Dier, Becky (Mark) Roma and Amanda (James) Lauzau and was predeceased by a brother, Jason Ciurczak and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Survivors also include his father and mother-in-law, Peter and Adele Paul, step-siblings, Paul (Toni) Canfield and Tricia (Mike) Broughton and sister and brother-in-laws, Stacey (Jim), Alycia (Daniel), Cheryl (Daniel) and Krystal (Christopher).

The family will be present on Thursday, May 20th from 4-7 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY (716-297-9007).  Friends invited.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.  Professional arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
