Michael Szuba Life story

Michael Ernest ‘Mike’ Szuba, 66, of Wilson, NY, passed away on December 1, 2022. Born on April 19, 1956 in Utica, NY, he was the son of late Patricia (nee Flanigan) Szuba and the late Edward Szuba and was the beloved husband of Teresa (nee Talarico) Szuba.

Mike retired from Eastern Niagara Hospital at Lockport, where he gave his life's work as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He was well known for his expertise in his field, and had made many amazing relationships that he cherished.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by children, Caroline and Steven; siblings, Mace (Rosa) Szuba, Melanie (Rick) Zaniewski and Marc (Kathy) Szuba, along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by a sister, Melissa Sadallah and a brother, Matthew Szuba.

Some of his fondest memories were spent on Lake Ontario in his sailboat, ‘Versed’, that he shared with his family and dear friend, Marty Godwin.
