Nicole Marie (Madore) Franquie

Nicole Marie (Madore) Franquie, 54, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on April 4, 2025. Born on July 3, 1970 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Riccardo and Cathy Madore. 

Nicole graduated in 1988 from LaSalle Senior High School. Nicole shared her life with Michael Kargatis and their dog “Whiskers” in Niagara Falls. 

In recent years, Nicole achieved sobriety and impacted many others with her guidance towards sustaining success in this area. Many have spoken in tribute to Nicole for her support and guidance with keeping them on track. She became actively involved in local groups and became a speaker to help others. Nicole was proud to share her story if it could assist others. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all that supported Nicole on her road to recovery.  

Survived by her children, Justin Franquie and Josh (Shana Jerrier) Franquie both of New Hampshire and Lindsay Robins of Niagara Falls NY; brother, Mark Madore and sister, Leota Adell Madore.
