Oscar Sherwood "Red" Crow, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 26, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House. He was born on July 16, 1938 to the late Oscar (late Laura) Crow in Glen Easton, WV.
Red, as he was known, attended Marshall County High School and at the age of 17 he began serving in the United States Army, in the 82nd Airborne Division, as a paratrooper. He worked as a carpet installer as well as a Nuisance Wildlife Controller for the DEC. Red was a member of the Church of Christ in Niagara Falls. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed going to the casino.
Red is survived by his wife, Goldie (Richner) Crow; children, Donna Crow, Diana (Raymond Miller) Frey, Selina (Chico) Figueroa and William (Kelly Ligammari) Bucci; a brother, Bernard (Karen) Crow and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by siblings, Raymond (Mary) Crow, Leota (Brooks) Allen and Evelyn (Jack) West.
Visitation will be on Thursday July 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends invited.****All occupancy, PPE and social distancing guidelines will be practiced. As you prepare to attend, please be mindful to bring face coverings and the current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry.
