Paula J. (McClellan) Manganero

Paula J. (McClellan) Manganero, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 23, 2024.  Born on August 19, 1958 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Pauline (Schultz) McClellan.  On August 9, 1986, Paula married Anthony J. ‘Tony’ Manganero.  He predeceased her on October 13, 2021.

Paula graduated from Starpoint High School and later earned her Masters Degree in Special Education from Buffalo State College.  She worked as a hairdresser, prior to receiving her Masters Degree.  Paula retired as a Special Education Teacher working for various local school districts.  She was a strong advocate for her own daughters as well as others who had special needs.  Paula enjoyed gardening and music, especially the Blues.  She was the loving caregiver to her husband and her girls.

Paula is survived by daughters, Tonya and Evynn Manganero; her loving siblings and their spouses; an aunt and an uncle as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

All are invited for visitation on Tuesday, February 27th, from 11-12, at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Paula’s funeral service and life celebration will begin at 12 noon.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery, Pekin, NY.
