Peter John Life story

Peter Harold John, 84, of Lockport, NY, passed away on June 5, 2020 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1935 in Lewiston, NY.

Peter proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1956. He retired as a truck driver, working for various companies. In 2006, Peter married Dolores Keefer. She predeceased him on May 19, 2017. He loved country music and NASCAR racing. Peter was a member of his local Methodist church.

Survived by children, Cheryl (Jimmy) Dykes, Cathy Cimino, Roger John, Russell (Tencha) John, Ronald (Nikki) John and Patricia (Jeffrey) Hillman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Peter was predeceased by parents, Peter and Martha (Thompson) John and 6 brothers and sisters.
