Peter J. Marotta

Peter J. Marotta, 71, of Wilson, NY, passed away on January 22, 2025 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born on August 20, 1953 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Patricia (Singer) Marotta and the husband of Wendy (Nachtrieb) Marotta.

Peter worked his whole life, from working with his father at a young age in Bay's Drug Store, being a manager at Rite Aide, a Teachers Associate at BOCES Academy (a most rewarding job for him), to a Bait Shop owner in Wilson, NY. He loved hunting and fishing and above all, Peter enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. 

In addition to his beloved wife of 35 years, Peter is survived by his daughter, Mary (Steve) Dunning; 3 granddaughters, Evie, Hope and Aubrey; sister, Deb (Joe) Loughran and a niece and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to attend Peter’s Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 29th, at 10:00 a.m. in All Saints Parish, 76 Church Street Lockport, NY.
