Phyllis June (Serrianne) Buccarelli

Phyllis June (Serrianne) Buccarelli, age 89, formally of North Tonawanda and Niagara Falls, NY, went to be with her Lord and Savior in Niagara Falls, NY after many years of multiple health challenges.

Phyllis was born on May 13, 1936 in North Tonawanda, NY; the daughter of the late John and Florence Serrianne. She attended local schools and was a 1955 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the former Kimberly Clark.

On November 28, 1964 she married the love of her life, Cosmo (Tom) Buccarelli at our Lady of Lebanon Church. They were happily married over 58 years. He surprised her with many gardenias on their special occasions. Cosmo predeceased Phyllis in November 2022.

Phyllis had great faith with her Lord and Savior. Praying her rosary daily, she found solutions to the problems of her loved ones to help them fulfill their dreams. Being very creative, Christmas decorating her house was a favorite time and NASCAR was her joy.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra Ann Buccarelli of Niagara Falls, NY and sons Thomas Peter (Marcie) Buccarelli of Niagara Falls, NY; Nicholas Joseph (Joelle) Buccarelli of Cambria, NY; grandchildren Casey, Justin, and Nicholas; and great grandchildren Fira and Reid Gifford. Also surviving are a niece and nephew. Besides her parents and husband, Phyllis was predeceased by a twin sister, Patricia (late John) Walker.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where closing prayers will be offered at 8:00 p.m.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Christian Rite of Committal and interment at St. Joseph Cemetery on Friday, April 24th at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or Niagara County SPCA.
