Renee April (Haas) Close, 57, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on May 17, 2023 at Niagara Hospice House. Born on April 9, 1966 in Watertown, NY, she was the daughter of Ruth E. (Champion) Haas and the late James E. Haas, Sr. Renee enjoyed crafting, planting and gardening and had a great passion for her cats.

In addition to her mother, Renee is survived by sons, James Taylor Haas and Michael Richards; 9 grandchildren; sister, Jamie Cumbee; brother, James E. Haas II; her boyfriend, Kevin LaPort; 7 nieces and nephews and 6 Cats, 3 Male and 3 Female.
